My sweetheart took me to Benedettos last night. We each picked out different soups and they were delicious. Nice to relax to a live piano player and a glass of red wine. Salad was perfect. Garlic Bread was a nice touch. We have always had a great time at this family run business. ...read more

Our group went for an event that was planned in advance with the new owners. THEY WERE NOT EVEN THERE! The only way we got in was that the VERY IMPERTINENT BAR "MANAGER" was there, and begrudgingly let us in, constantly reminding us how lucky we were that he was there. There is no more food, the drinks have gone from $2.50 to $7.50. THEY NOW WANT TO CHARGE YOU $50 to sit on the couches. We were sitting on them before 8, we were the ONLY patrons in the place... paying patrons... and the guy kicked us out of the couch area... THE BAR WAS EMPTY AND HE TOLD US WE COULD NOT SIT THERE. The band didn't show up and the bathroom was a mess. DO NOT GO! Refuse to be highjacked by GREEDY and UN-Accommodating business owners with surly employees!! The Bar Manager said they want to attract customers from Tampa... so the local folks apparently aren't good enough for them. He kept saying, well if there were more of you.
