Friends, I am posting this e-mail I received in hopes that we can all STEP UP TO THE PLATE. August 6, 2008 Dear Supporter, As President of the East Boynton Beach Little League, home of the 2003 National Champions, I am extremely proud of the accomplishment of our Senior League All–Stars who, yesterday, won the Southeastern Regional Senior League Championship. With the win, the team will have the honor of representing the South in the Senior Little League World Series tournament this coming week in. The expenses involved, including travel and accommodations, are significant and the families of the players are working hard to raise monies for the upcoming tournament. Any assistance you or your company can provide will be greatly appreciated. So Here I Am!!
Ok...so here I am sitting at my computer wondering what to do next with my business. How can I get people to understand that all I want to do is HELP? I have these fantastic dental plans and thousands of people out there in need of them. People not going to the dentist because of the high costs. People are not even getting check-ups because they are unaffordable. Families with parents working 2 jobs just to keep food on the table or gas in the car. Single Moms & Dads (like me) feeling guilty because they cannot afford to take their children for yearly check-ups no less getting any cavaties filled!! College students who are no longer covered under their parents insurance going without their dental necessaties. Small businesses that have no choice but to charge their employees astronomical premiums. Self-employed going without so they can keep their business afloat, etc. You get my point. So...here I am.....still wondering how do I get people to understand that for evenjust $4.71 a monthpeople can getFREE CLEANINGSandFREE CHECK-UPS!! I can't afford to advertise (not yet anyway).
