Not just dining but a meeting place
We sit love the 50's feel of this diner. We usually go for breakfast every week. My family loves the grand slam meal. Poached eggs. My son love the "SPACE" chicken nuggets with french fries.
The service is friendly and served with a smile. I'd say it's also pretty fast. No waiting UNLESS it's a "free" kids meal night or something.
Great food and choices, wonderful service and compare the experience to other restaurants where the wait is 30-45 minutes.
If you like a family friendly restaurant with great waiters and waitresses and a varied menu for everyone, you'll love this location. During holiday seasons, you might expect a 10-15 minute wait but it is WELL worth it!
You can eat breakfast, lunch or dinner style food anytime! You eat what you want and are not locked into a particular type of meal at someone else's taste. My wife had a delicious gormet hamburger with fresh slice mushrooms (not out of a can), I had a wonderful omelete with a side order of pancakes, my father-in-law had 3 pancakes with strawberries and blueberries, and the boys had steaks just the way they like them....well done.
My wife never ran out of Diet Coke and the boys had orange juice (they love it).
My father-in-law and I kept the coffee hot.
And if you have a large group they can accomodate you as well.
Don't be surprised to see the owner behind the cash register from time to time. An elegant lady who is very friendly. I look for grouchy, unfriendly employees and fortuantely have never found any at this location.
