Manna food market is a staple of the east rock community. Run by a very personable husband and wife, you are always greeted with a smile, and always given great service, whether you're trying to get something off the shelf or ordering one of their many delicious lunch and breakfast sandwiches. The roast beef Godfather (ask for it served on a sub) is one of the best sandwiches you will find in New Haven: layer upon layer of roast beef, tomatoes, lettuce, real chopped bacon bits, and an aoili to die for.
