My eldest child (age 3 now) has attended this school for almost a year now. This Montessori school really has worked for her. My 2nd child has been attending since he was 9 weeks old and also is doing great. Of course as a baby it's not really school as much as childcare, but they give more natural type toys and learning and what I love the most is how clean it is. The teachers are very caring too. My son's head teacher has been there for 10 years and my daughter's head teacher has been there for 30 years. I'm at the school all the time and observe everything going on and am really impressed. It's true that you can feel the peace in the school. It's quiet and the kids learn so much. You will spend more than the average day care, but it is a great school. Anytime I have needed to talk to a teacher or the director I have had all the time and help I have needed. I have two children in this school. The oldest is 5, he started here at age 3 months and is now a Kindergartner. I have always been very pleased with the amount of attention he has recieved from the teachers, and the wonderful opportunities he has had for personal growth, both acedemically and socially. One example is that beginning at age 3 he has attended spanish class and now comes home using the words he has learned. My two year old has thrived in the Montessori programming as well. Believe it or not, these teachers can get 20+ one and two year olds to sit quitely in a circle and participate in group activites as well as work quitely by themelves at complteing individual activiteis. Besides the normal montessori programming, there are option activites in which you can enroll your child, which take place during the normal school day AT THE SCHOOL! One day a week both of my children participate in Jump Bunch which is a physical fitness program, and another day during the week my oldest takes part in an Art Class.\t\n\t\nI can not say enough wonderful things about this school. We have been at this Montessori since my son was 6 months old. I have been very pleased with the level of care and education he has received. The center has made some significant changes in the past 9 months and it shows!
