We experienced high turnover and weren't happy with the care givers for my Mom. We chose to transition to another company. They said not to discharge from their system and get initial deposit back. I have since requested deposit three times. Just got off the phone with Jerri, the owner, who said my deposit was different than what I remember paying - she then accused me of not paying my first bill in full (?WHAT??) which would have been three years ago and said I owe her $20. I don't have the time to dig through 3 years worth of records. Jerri screamed at me over the phone saying I had no integrity and there was no conversation to have and HUNG UP ON ME. This review references court records, when we had to take this difficult guardian to court to get better care for an elderly ward. The guardian just defied court orders and it got worse. The ward and family suffered, and expenses and wages were, IMHO, wasteful and unjustifiably VERY costly. It was all an extremely sad experience and a cruel way to end a life. Protect yourself and loved ones by calling different senior services for their input, and thoroughly research in order to find the right guardian for your needs. I like it here at ViewPointe Assisted Living and Independent Living very much. They seem to try to accommodate you in any way they can. If you need something, you can bet they'll get it for you. Hospice services are very personal and caring in nature, so it does not seem right to produce a huge marketing method to sell these services. It is better to build relationships and participate in events to make your services know to potential patients. ...read more
