I brought in my dog for a full body grooming, including nail cutting. It cost me a 1/2 day's worth of salary, which is a lot for me, and when I got home, I noticed that there was (red stuff - CitySearch doesn't want me to type in the actual word) all over my car's back seat. My dog's nail was cut too short and that's where the "red stuff" came from. Well, not only is that a major pain when it comes to trying to remove the "red stuff" from ivory colored leather, but imagine how my dog felt, and no one even knew. ...read more

THIS PLACE is TERRIBLE. I WAS A LOYAL FAN IN THE BEGINNING, AFTER I RETURNED FROM A TRIP MY DOGS EYES WERE CLOSED SHUT WITH SLEEP AND MUCUS. I WAS SOOO DISGUSTED, BUT I GAVE PET CAMP ANOTHER TRY. MICHELLE, PROMISED AND PROMISED THIS WAS JUST A MISUNDERSTANDING. THEY PROMISED TO WIPED THE SLEEP OUT MY COCKERS EYES. AGAIN, I PICKED HIM UP AND HIS EYES WERE FILLED WITH MUCUS AND CRUSTED SLEEP. THE LADY AT THE FORNNT DESK HAD TO GO GET A HOT TOWEL TO HELP ME PRY THE CRUST FROM HIS EYES. JOHN, THE MANAGER, TRIED TO TELL ME THAT MY DOSG EYES WERE CLEANED AN HOUR AGO.THEY DON'T TAKE OF YOUR PET IN A WAY, WHICH WARRANTS $45.00 A DAY. YOU GET YOUR DOG BACK SMEELY, COVERED IN URINE, HUNGRY AND THEIR EYES CLOSED SHUT. BASICALLY, YOU ARE PAYING YOUR PET TO BE LOCKED IN A CAGE FOR DAYS WITH MINIMAL CARE. THIS IS COMMON SENSE. PEOPLES PET'S ARE LIKE CHILDREN. ONE WOULD NEVER RETURN A CHILD THAT THEY ARE WATCHING TO THE PARENTS WITH CRUSTED SLEEP IN THEIR EYES, FULL DIAPER AND SNOTTY NOSED. I HOPE. ...read more

Adopt an Australian Cattle Dog | Blue Heeler | Basenji Mix Dog

Adopt Birdie, an Australian Cattle Dog | Blue Heeler | Basenji mix looking for a San Francisco Home. Birdie the brindled dog will bring you much happiness. She has only been with her foster mom for a very short time and already is house broken and knows how to sit. Walking on a leash is something she is working on. Birdie is frightened by street noises, but has improved greatly in the last couple of weeks. We will soon be starting obedience school to improve her confidence and to better understand commands. Birdie is not shy about meeting people and loves all the attention she can get. She displays the traits of her Australian Cattle Dog breed: smart and friendly topped off with a large dose of energy. Birdie's unique brindle color sets her apart. Her multi-color coat really shines in the sun. At 30 pounds she is the perfect size for all living situations, although she is a little full-figured and should probably weigh 3-5 pounds less. She has a low bark that she uses only when she wants attention. She lives well with the two house dogs, but would prefer to be the main focus. She tolerates the cat but will chase after it when it runs. Birdie will be a devoted, loving dog to someone lucky enough to discover her. Bix, A Very Cute Dog, Needs A San Francisco Home to Adopt Him

Bix is currently being fostered in San Francisco by a Grateful Dogs Rescue volunteer but he'd love to find a forever home. Here is how Bix describes himself "Wink! I'm Bix and I don't know why you wouldn't want to adopt me! I only weigh about twenty pounds, and I am about four years old. I love going for long walks and playing with other dogs. When I am at home, I love to play with toys or just cuddle on your lap. You may notice that I am always winking at you. That's because I had to have a procedure to remove a damaged eye, but I feel great now! I ama good natured, enthusiastic dog. I enjoy being brushed and, of course, having my tummy rubbed. Homes with small kids may not be the best for me because of size but I am house trained and I know sit and come but would love to learn more. I think training class sounds great! I also ride quietly in the car!" See more pictures of Bix on Petfinder.comhttp://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/14763753 If you are interested in adopting Bix, please fill out an application on the Grateful Dogs Rescue website. http://gratefuldogsrescue.org/AdoptionProcess See other dogs available at Grateful Dogs Rescuehttp://gratefuldogsrescue.org ...read more
