The owner/principal Anne has a lot of experience with children and running a school. When we first started, teachers were very well qualified and had long tenure in the school. It had very stable staff unlike other schools. My kids loved it there and they were learning!\t\n\t\nHere are my concerns. 1) The facility is poor. There are several Montessori's around the area. This one is known as the 'good' but 'ugly' Montessori. The school is a converted business park so only one of the classrooms has a window. The rest of the classrooms have no natural sunlight. 2) They do not have a proper playground. Hardly any grass for the kids to play in. 3) The facility is old so it never seems clean. They only do cosmetic changes to improve the facility. The facility opened in 1993 so if you do the math, it is almost 20 years old. It is time to get serious about making the place look decent. (work on kitchen, bathrooms, etc) 4) No proper kitchen. They only have a small microwave and toaster. 5) Recently, they lost two long time teachers so they are starting to have teacher turnover too.\t\n\t\nBased on the disappointing state of the facility, I withhold recommending this school.\t\n ...read more

Calvary Chapel Rancho Santa Margarita is a great Christian Church with a good community of people. It has a very warm and friendly environment.
