We had Mr. Baby Proofer baby proof our house yesterday and we couldn't be more happy. When Daryl came out to do the estimate he did not try to oversell me on anything. In fact, he told me I didn't need several gates that I thought we needed. Daryl and Chad installed everything yesterday and were fast, efficient and professional. Also, the materials they used (gates and pool fence) look great. They went above and beyond by fixing a broken drawer and hanging a baby web cam for me. We also thought the invoice was reasonable. I had a fantastic experience with this company! I was recommended to them by Jackie Rosenberg my Mommy n Me instructor (also fabulous). They came out for a consultation and pointed out all the areas that needed baby proofing. They also gave me suggestions on things I could do on my own which was great because we're on a budget. There was no pressure, and no over doing it. We hired them to do the installation and everything came out great! Having a baby proofed home makes it so much more relaxing for my husband and I as well as my 9month old daughter! We have recommended them to many friends and they are also extremely happy with the service. I am so thankful that I found this company! The things they found and knew to do were things I would have never even thought of. You not only get a safe home but an education on child safety. They also installed our car seats!! This so called ""expert"" who has been in business since 1985, was unable to baby proof any of my lowest kitchen cabinets because they wouldn't fit his ""one kind of latch"" - no back up ideas. Couldn't secure two heavy mirrors that he told me needed securing in first place ""because they didn't have the right kind of wires"" - told me ""i could try some wax""?! Don't ask me why I was paying $1400 to baby proof my house and being told how I should try it myself? He was late, didn't clean up after himself and his worker (left wood shaving piles where they drilled) and was pissy when I wouldn't trade out my outlet plugs to let him install his plates for another $75.
