Grand master Merritt is an educated instructor who fully understands the application and proper form for literally every technique he shows you. His skill and instruction are undeniable.,and he s priced the best of anyone in the area also. I didn't even want to learn Tae Kwon DO.However few other martial arts were available in the Lancaster area. And now I'm glad that there weren't :) . When I first started training I was the only adult student which was not only a little embarassing but I feel stifled my growth in the beginning as well.However a year later more adults are beginning to join and I find the experience is becoming even more rewarding as a result ! i am now rating 1 star just because there is nothing less. I reviewed this school giving it 5 stars in october but it has since lost its great teacher and replaced him with a rude kid with no respect for parents or children. Previous teacher was a master new teacher isnt even a black belt and tries to tell adults how to parent. US taekwondo college went from the best to the worst. The grandmaster who owns the school may be good but is never there. If you Join you are wasting your money. ...read more
