I've never seen such a terrible preschool in my life. Teachers along with the director are always enjoying their lunch while leaving the children unsupervised. I have taken my child out because i have noticed this numerous times. It seems like to them this is just a business and a way of making money. This not a place where your child can grow and learn. The director and her husband are VERY unprofessional. I have noticed the husband yelling at the teachers and children and i see this as verbal abuse which is NOT okay. Karineh (director) will smile at your face just to get you to bring your child in but deep down she is not a caring person and I'm surprised on how someone like her can own a preschool. Previously I had gotten emails from parents suggesting I take my child out but I had never considered it until I noticed everything myself. As far as education goes this school is fine. However, culturally and socially this school is HORRIBLE. There is almost zero diversity at Balboa and students who are picked on for not being part of the majority get very little support from the faculty in those matters. I was even told that if I want my child to fit in I should enroll him in classes where he can learn to speak Armenian. The administrative staff has been unfriendly, unhelpful and even hostile at times and the lack of supervision after school is ridiculous.
