Elm Salon

I have been getting my hair done at The Elm for years, and I have NEVER been disappointed. I get my hair done by the owner, Beth Warner. She is great, and always has new ideas for my hair. Beth is a genuinely nice person, and I love getting my hair cut. The spa is great as well and I Love getting facials, as well as the new Shellac manicures.

I went in today for a haircut, just to trim up dead ends. I told Beth to take off two inches, or just enough to get rid of the dead ends, as I am trying to grow my hair out. I ended up EIGHT inches shorter. I am beyond disappointed and frustrated. I'm not sure how anyone could misinterpret such a big difference in inches, but I've had far better sucess with $10 haircuts at walk-in hair salons. I'm out $45, which is not a big deal, but THREE years of growing my hair out has all been wasted.

I've been seeing Shelly for about a year now at the Elm. I love the environment, beautifully restored old home, with very professional and friendly staff all around. It is quiet and peaceful . The waiting area is comfy and charming and the best part is the wonderful beverages that are offered free. The Latte's are the BEST!!. Shelly is a great stylist and listens to what I need and follows through. Love it there!!
