Dryer Vent Safety
We were very happy with the service and knowledge extended to us by George Perez when he serviced our clothes dryer today. He explained everything that was faulty and the best way of correcting the problem. We called him in the morning and he was here by noon. Dryer Box installations allow machines to be placed closer to the wall in tight laundry room conditions.
Improper Vent Covers can allow animals to nest in them. This will completely block the vent operation and cause your dryer to over heat.
This damaged dryer ignited into fire due to a blocked vent.

But another potentially dangerous appliance that does not make the news is your HAIR dryer. I have read more and more regarding the hair dryer and in some cases the persons hair catching fire during use. So please check your hair dryers too, make sure the unit is not full of hair in the nozzle, I wouldn't want you to singe your scalp. Be safe while looking good.
