About Paincare Centers
PainCare Centers, Inc., medical institute administers specialty care for patients who experience pain at the acute, sub-acute, and chronic levels. Since its launch in 1992, the medical facility has branched out to incorporate a total of nine clinics across New Hampshire, two of which are set to open this autumn. The location in Littleton and the North Conway offices will be completed in October 2011. With a highly skilled staff of more than 160 employees, PainCare Centers currently treats over 6,000 patients each month.
Founded by Dr. Michael J. O’Connell, MD, MHA, and Dr. John C. Bell, MD, PainCare Centers originally only offered pain management services to residents of New Hampshire; however, with the continued development and growth of the company, the medical facility now offers services in family practice, laboratory testing, and addiction treatment in correspondence with PainCare Centers’ Suboxone Program, and to residents of the states of Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont. In the near future, the clinic will also provide MRI scanning. Currently, PainCare Centers offers comprehensive treatments for a wide variety of pain generators, including the vertebral spine, muscular, joint, nerve, and general, as well as post-surgery pain and chronic pain syndrome.
With its increasing success, PainCare Centers has used its gains to establish a nonprofit sector of the clinic called the People Care Foundation. Founded as an educational and lobbying division, the organization was developed to reach out to the New Hampshire community, particularly the youth population, and increase awareness about the consequences of prescription drug abuse by using the nontraditional strategy of orchestrating interaction between teenaged students and young addicts in recovery.
Reviews about Paincare Centers
One fantastic place...
This practice has helped me manage chronic pain for many years. I have use several locations in New Hampshire along with several providers. I call them miracle workers. After suffering with back pain for years, I now wake up each day and feel wonderful, and I owe it all to these providers. it isn't all about pills that cloud your mind. They have many ways to manage that pain without using narcotics. If you have chronic pain, make an appointment and start changing your life too.

I have been suffering with lower back and bilateral leg pain for several years because of spinal stenosis, and herniated discs that were pinching nerves. PainCare tried many options for treating me, but nothing gave me enough long-term relief. Had a spinal cord stimulator implanted in February and am a new person enjoying the things I love doing again. Just being able to walk without pain is big for me. Thank you to all the providers at PainCare, but especially Dr. O'Connell..
