Donley Carver Investment Properties, LLC

Unfortunately I had to deal with Donley Carver Investment Properties for 12 months while I lived in a rental unit managed by them. Brent Carver was the consultant that I worked with directly. The issues with Brent began when he failed to take care of maintenance issues for the house I rented. We had plumbing issues with a toilet that took him six weeks to respond to. Even then, he didn't send a plumber, just some cheap contractor. The same plumbing issues continued over the next several months. As our lease came to an end, Brent fails to notify me that they are selling the property after I move out and I find this out only after a realtor is on my doorstep wanting to take pictures of the house and start showing it. Brent never notified me of this. But wait, here's the icing on the cake. After I finally move out, Brent contacts me and accuses me of stealing a curtain rod out of one of the bedrooms. I tell him I did no such thing, and he claims it will be a $89.00 charge, for a curtain rod! I assured him that I never took a rod from the bedroom, and he responds by shouting and yelling that he doesn't have to listen to me and he can just charge me for it because he feels like it. He shouts through the phone at me some more about how he can do what he wants with my deposit whether I like it it not. Then he hangs up without giving me a chance to respond. So, in short, do not do business with Donley Carver. They lack basic management skills and customer service is obviously something they never learned, or care to give.
