Bignon's African Hair Braiding

I went to them for the first time to get cornrows done. A simple style right? But when I got there, one lady examined my hair and quoted me one price, but the lady who was actually going to them examined my hair and quoted me a higher price. When I told her what the first price quote was, she called the first lady over there and they started arguing with each other on what the price should be. I will give them props on how quickly they did my cornrows and how long it's lasted, but if they're going to hussle me like that, I will not be going back to them.

Overall, they do a great job...problem is, they have a hard time telling anyone NO. I have had an appointment and STILL had to wait 2-3 hours to be seen. And, on several occasions, I have been there way past midnight finishing up. I understand a quality job takes time...but to make an appointment and STILL have to wait several hours in the small waiting room is not pleasant. The workers also often have their children there in the waiting room. They become loud and bored...sleeping on the sofas and making the wait unpleasant.

I have been to Bignon's and had kinky twist done. The twist were really nice, I LOVED THEM and the lady that did them was fast. My only complaint is that it is this one fat girl that does micros and she talks ENTIRELY TOOOOOO much!!!!! She would get on her phone like every 5 minutes and but the catch was that she could not multi-task. I would not expect the ladies to be in there for hours on end and not use the phone or converse but KEEP YOUR HANDS MOVING!!!!!!!!
