I injured my back about 8 weeks ago. The first 2 weeks I tried chiropractic care with no results. My next option was to seek the doctor who took x-rays and prescribed 9 different medications over 3 visits. He also gave me a few exercises. With little to no results he ordered physical therapy. My first thoughts were if medication doesn't work how can therapy. On my first visit with my therapist Heidi she noticed that in the evaluation that my hamstrings were extremely tight. She worked with me on how to correctly preform these excercises to strech these muscles. On followup visits she would make adjustments to my excercise routine based on area and severity of pain. After 9 visits over 5 weeks I can say I am totally pain free with increased range of motion. Thank you to Heidi and the rest of the well trained staff at Beaver Dam Rehab
