BEST DIVE BAR ANYWHERE!
I grew up in this bar. Its my home away from home. It has an amazing jukebox, great service, and amazing people with amazing stories. Talk to Jack, the older man, who is there everyday and you will learn anything you want about the city. It isnt a place for the high maintenance but if you are looking for a laid-back place to have a few good drinks and meet a few good people, this is the place for you.
old and improved
They gave the place a facelift without taking away the feel of the place. new floors, lighting, seating with the same great jukebox. You're still not walking into some chic joint, it's still Barrow's Pub.
Lower than a dive
If you want to wait two hours to shoot one game of pool or tables that tip in your lap or to be ignored by the bartender or enjoy stepping around soft spots in the floor, this is the place for you. This isn't even a good dive; a dive would be upscale. Seems like a lot to go through just to hear a good jukebox.
