Baker Residential of Pennsylvania LLC

My husband and I moved into our newly built town home in July 2011 and are still dealing with Baker and their "do-nothing" attitude. The people that work for them are clueless and give you the run around on pretty much everything. We are dealing with an issue that they attempted to fix starting in the spring of 2012 and it is still not fixed. We have brought other engineers in to assess the situation after Baker claimed their were no issues, had the original plans compared to what actually was done and still they are trying to take the easy way out. Baker is trying to get out of doing everything and although they finished building houses here in spring of 2013, our association will not release the builder from the messes they are trying to leave. It's a nightmare and I would not recommend the builder to anyone. The design of the house is great from the outside and for the most part except for the fact that the heating/ac system is not efficient for cooling the bedrooms on the 3rd floor. One would think that with all the experience Baker and Iacobucci had over the years this small detail in 2010 would have been resolved. I'm thankful that my husband and I don't have enough money to waste it on the $700,000 homes being built by Baker in Glen Mills as I would be royally ticked if I got this type of product/treatment/service spending that much money.

We had the same experience. The quality of the materials used is far below acceptable. The guy we dealt with from the beginning was a complete shyster! They are all fake and dishonest. It was the most stressful time in our life and it was not our first home that we built. Our builders in the past did everything they could to make it a happy experience and Baker did everything they could to make this the most horrendous experience of our life. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Baker Residential.

Baker Residential is not the homebuilder you want to select for your new home. We recently built with them in 2013 and could not be more dissatisifed. The company/builder was completely unorganized and made false promises. Their motto "a difference you can see" is true - except in the opposite way they intend it. We should have selected another community and another builder to create our luxury estate home. Instead we are very sorry we used this company for our family's home. We had nothing but headaches and hassles for 12 months from signing on to completion. Seriously suggest finding another community and going with another builder in the Delaware County, PA area. You will regret working with Baker.
