Backyard Living

Last year, I purchased an outdoor island from Backyard Living totaling over 10K. About 3 weeks into the manufacturing process, I stopped by the store to check on the progress. A sign on the door said that the store was closed for a month. (employee issues) In the end, they were over a month late delivering my unit, and refused to stand behind their original delivery date in any way. About 8 months later, I called about some warranty repair. They scheduled a repairman for the 20th of July. No one ever showed up. I called, I was told that the owners were out of town. I never heard from them again. I called every day for over a week and eventually got a recording that the mailbox was full. Today when I called the store, the number has been disconnected. And when calling Gary's cell phone, The mail box is full and I can't leave a message. How can you run a business that way? I doubt that they’ll even be in business a year from now, if they are even still in business today. LOOSERS!!
