"You make your own rules in fashion" is one of my favorite mantras because I try to apply it both life and fashion.  Doing the opposite would be to follow someone else's rules, to wear what other people want you to wear, or doing what others want you to do.  Who the hell wants to do that?!  Ok, so with that being said, there are some things that you just shouldn't do.  I know that might sound completely opposite from my mantra but just like in life...everything is not for everybody.  That's why I decided to create a list of three styles that need to be buried!  Suffering a loss can be difficult so grab your tissue because here they are:

1.  Coulettes -  These knee length pants are only flattering on women who are 6ft tall or taller.  They aren't flattering on most because they are cut off at the knee, which makes you look heavier, no matter your size.  I know what you are thinking, "Only a handful of women are that tall?!"  Exactly!

2.  Birkenstocks - These wide, flat shoes with buckles are ummm...interesting.  Perfect for gardening or maybe even  walking around an amusement park.  Maybe not even then lol.  And a perfect pedicure won't help!

3. Baggy Overalls - Baggy overalls give the give saggy booty and extra tummy.  Don't do it!  If are a fan of overalls go with the skinny style.

"Dear God, please bless those that have worn them and those who are currently wearing these styles.  Please let them now rest in peace."  -Amen  May they rest in peace.  Are there any other styles that we need to lay to rest?
