Belleview West Animal Hospital

I have been taking my cats to Belleview West Animal Hospital for over ten years, and have had great success. Today, however, was appalling! After waiting 45 minutes in the room with my cat, the doctor came in... didn't speak a word to me.. let alone apologize for making us wait 45 minutes. It was myself that had to initiate the conversation about my cat who I took in a week and a half ago. The last visit I paid the amount in full. Today, when I was told the astronomical amount to run tests on my cat, I stated that I could not pay in full and asked if I could pay some today and the rest in three weeks when I got paid. I was taken aback by the comments made to me because I could not pay the full amount. I love my cats and am a good owner. People fall on rough times, and to be told that the doctor feels sorry for my cat because as an owner I cannot pay to get him well, is unacceptable and unprofessional!! \t\nThe fact I have taken my cats to this facility for over ten years and have been able to pay in full every time obviously has no bearing. I will never step foot in their door again and instead will be looking for a more compassionate and caring facility.
