Quartzsite is a town in La Paz County of Arizona. It is a popular winter tourist location for camping and other tourism activities. It is in the Sonoran Desert. Major facilities include the Arizona Highway Maintenance Yard - Quartzsite, La Posa Long-Term Visitor Area, Kofa National Wildlife Refuge, and Hi Jolly Monument. Quartzsite, The Rock Capital of the World, is a winter destination for RV snowbirds with over 11,000 acres of BLM boondock camping, 70+ RV Parks, music, entertainment, vendors, swapmeets, arts/craft shows, desert golfing, etc.. An ATV friendly town, Quartzsite boasts hundreds of miles of desert trails. Town Park is a great location for family fun, Disc Golf, Skateboarding, baseball, football, & activities. In January, the largest Rock show of its kind, the world famous Big Tent RV Show, Tyson Wells shows, Main Event & more! RV dealers, vendors at every corner.
