One star in my opinion is generous. We had gone to him for years, this year I have a friend who is taking care of it, and she found some mistakes from last year. Not little mistakes either. My friend works for a financial firm, lots of CPA's and more, a place that really knows their stuff, and in going over my last years returns (I have rental property and some other semi-complicated stuff) she noticed some major problems. Wrong rates being used, made up numbers and dates. I know have to go back through every year that was done by Stearnes and have them all amended because of the mistakes, right now it looks like a couple thousand dollars in mistakes.
