Sellers/those that consign - BEWARE! After seeing our ads on craigslist, these individuals continually preyed upon to the point of harrassment of my friend to consign with them, guaranteeing more money for our items. As my friend was in a hospital ER bed on strong pain medication, she was continually texted and contacted to coordinate a time to obtain our furniture- all the while bragging about the better return. Their team was to come to our home the following day, all the while we were assured of a definite buyer that was coming from another city. As of a result of not receiving communication ( refusal to answer texts and phone calls) , or a visit at the time they promised, we lost our sure sale. We finally had to arrange a pickup the next day to have these final items removed from our home ( due to a sale), and after seriously suggesting the proper rental truck to insure the protection of our items, the movers arrived with only an open bed pickup truck, which had nothing to properly care for and protect the furniture on its way to the auction house. We could see that there was a possibility for some wear and tear damage due to lack of protection- no padding, blankets, etc. Thus, the value of our perfect conditioned items would be diminished. We were heartbroken to learn of the final selling price of such good items. Yes, this is an auction whereby the buyer usually benefits. But this auctioneer was so sure of a great selling price that he persisted and persisted to the point of harrassment. Their webpage also mentions that they will often buy items and skip the concept of consignment. We wonder , if they were so sure of a better sale for us, why they would not then pay someone up front for fair market price? ...read more

I got a flyer on my car door about an antique auction. My wife and I are huge antique lovers. We decided to check it out, and were very impressed about the quality of items that they had for sale. I've been to a few auctions around town and the quality of items couldn't compare to the cool stuff we found here. We went home with four unique pieces and got a great deal! My only complaint was, my wife was a little cold, maybe their air conditioning was too chilly. We had a blast though. ...read more

My husband and I attended an auction on August 2nd looking for a few treasures. At the door we were greeted by two friendly young ladies who explained the process of bidding and registered us promptly. We asked a question that they were unsure of , and one of the owners, Brian came over and answered in full detail. The items that were for sale sold at great prices and they had many unique fun items to keep us interested. Overall I had fun, they had free drinks and cookies too! I'll go again. ...read more

We now offer sewing classes.

Just starting out to learn to Sew should be a wonderful experience and we try our best to make that happen! Preparations and knowledge of your subject is necessary to understand your chosen art so I will begin with a short story about Sewing and how and when it became a true art. Go over all the materials such as Fabric types that it might require for you to complete a project, Yardage, and where to get those FREE patterns. I will talk about the project YOU want to learn in this class and we will then learn the sewing machine and where to place your fingers so they don't end up under the needle. How to read a pattern and use it to make the pattern fit you. The project begins. If this is not your first try at Sewing, we will begin where you left off and teach you more ways to help you with the project that you set aside because you got stuck or lost. Your stitches are crooked, you hem is uneven or you haven't even cut it out yet! What ever the reason, I will help you resolve it, even if it means starting all over again.
