  2. Ask for recommendations from friends that are using online dating. A friend may have had a positive experience with a specific site and can give you some tips.

  4. Create your profile. This will vary from site to site. Some sites require a few questions, while other require complex essay questions. Think about the type of person that you want to meet by making a list. Make sure that you are honestly answering each question.
