For the past 4 years we have been stopping at the Road Runner #2 at 5720 Loop 245 in Texarkana, Arkansas for fuel. This means we stop there twice a month for fill ups. We have learned that 9 times out of 10 although we are paying at the pump, we have to go inside for a receipt. Yesterday was no different. What was different about yesterday was that we decided to have our vehicle washed at the car wash at that location. We paid $10. for the Ultimate Wash using our debit card, we were offered a receipt, and in keeping with the fuel pumps, we did not receive one. After the wash, we pulled ahead to a grassy area to walk our dog, and noticed the truck looked as if we had just splashed through a water puddle. The road grime was still present, the windshield was still a mess, and the wheel wells and tires still had dirt hanging from them. In the future, considering the waste of money and the inconvenience of having to go inside we will be using the fuel stop directly across the street. ...read more
