My husband does entertainment at nursing/retirement homes at times & I now am a traveling nurse. I used to be a director of nurses before we started traveling.Needless to say we have seen MANY facilities. This facility is one of the finest we have encountered. The minute you enter the place you feel "at home." The residents are happy, clean, & complimentary of the staff. The odor is pleasant throughout the facility. Valley Springs Residential Care was shut down in July. It is now being opened by a whole new set of owners and ran by a new set of people. It is opening March 1st and will be named Pleasant Springs Memory Care and Assisted Living Center. The number is 918-422-4242 ...read more
Time to putter in the yard! We've put some landscaping in and launched into a venture into vegetable gardening. There are bird and squirrel feeders to watch and the patio is comfortably furnished to enjoy the beautiful weather. We've been sipping ice tea and visiting with neighbors. The Farmer's Market has been producing some delicious salads lately. Next week we are taking a mystery trip with the church's JOY group. I guess I will have to blog about that after I know what the mystery is. LOL. We still have room in the house for you to join us.
