Stay Away from Titlebucks on Airport Blvd. Being self-employed we use title companies frequently to finance jobs. TitleMax has a policy that you can't have more than one vehicle financed even if it is at another store location. Titlebucks agreed to match our interest rate from TitleMax, but when we got there they couldn't locate their manager (Josh) to approve the rate change. We were told that since they already had proof of the interest rate from the other store it would not be a problem, and first thing Monday morning (when they located their manager) they would change it. Low and behold, one week and three calls from us later we were finally able to locate the manager and he denied the rate change. He said it was because we only had the good interest rate at TitleMax because we had been using them so long. How did they get this information? Well, come to find out, TitleBucks and TitleMax are sister companies. Yes, they are basically the same company with a different name, and they share all of their information. Still, TitleBucks agreed to match my rate and failed to hold up their end of the deal, resulting in about $144 loss on my end. Don't make the same mistake I did. I transferred my loans to ACE Title Loans on Schillinger Rd. Thay matched my interest rate with no problems, and their customer service during the process was impeccable.
