Be careful when purchasing from Michael's. I was sold a lower grade diamond after an agreed upon spec sheet for an engagement ring. When I received a call to pick up the ordered diamond, I inquired about the certification paperwork. The owners said not to worry, and that usually takes a week. After repeated phone calls and visits, the certification finally came in the mail a month later. They sold me a lower grade diamond. Despite the discussion with the owners and showing them the spec sheet (which they had on file and brought out), they refused to get the correct diamond. I took the ring to other jewelry shops around town and was told what a significant value drop-off this bait and switch sales technique had resulted in. Buyer Beware. The couple that owned the shop were irritated that I wanted to return the rock and order the one I had requested, telling me I didn't know jewelry. Party Ponies and Friends is looking for a reasonably priced rental location for June thru August for our livestock education summer program/camp. Our current enrollement give us enough money to pay $300 per week. Offers higher than this will be considered. Keep in mind that what we can afford depends on enrollement as we have to also cover the expenses of insurance, transportation, teachers, and other supplies. All animals will be kept outside and will not be left on premises overnight. We have portable pens, so a barn is not needed though if one is available we would consider it. We need a small chalet or cabin in the Anchorage Area that has kitchen facilities, a bathroom and enough capacity for 6-12 kids. Currenty Party Ponies and Friends has been providing livestock education to classrooms in the Anchorge School District and the Matsu Valley. This is an opportunity to extend this to more students in a more open and fun summer environment. Program is taught by certified teachers. ...read more
