have the post office delivery mail monday thru friday cut sat. delivery, have older employes retire and use up there vacation days have a different health provider,or make ups or fedex our primary source of mail delivery

For the past several days, I was trying to submit an application for a US passport. I tried several post office facilities and ran in numerous roadblocks and arbitrary rules and procedures. Finally, I learned that the Standiford Post Office processed passport applications on Saturdays and no appointments were required. The two young ladies that were manning the post office on Saturday were truly professional and very conscientious and responsible. They had quite a few people waiting to process their applications, yet managed to help all the patrons in a very efficient and effective manner. They didn't make excuses as to why they couldn't do something and they didn't resort to complaining when they had to do something extra. They just dealt with each situation and truly demonstrated that they loved their jobs, did what was required effectively and treated each person with dignity and courtesy. The young woman who helped my wife and I was named "Meme", a credit to your branch.
