Dallas: Stringer Chem-Dry Carpet Cleaner

Would like to give NO Stars, but the site doesn't go that low. Please read this before you make your carpet cleaning decision.
The phone person on 3 pre-calls assured me that the carpet would take no longer than 4 hours to dry. It took more than 2 DAYS. It was not treated for pet urine, just the plain service which should have the normal dry time. And they said the chemical solution wouldn't smell. WRONG! Their service buckled one of the carpets. They gave me a bid of more than $375 to stretch it. I asked for half off to make up for the long dry time and bad smell, and they agreed to $25 off. (big deal). Another company with nothing to make up for stretched it for $200 and it looks great. My bill for carpet cleaning came to over $500. I would never use them again. I see that none of the positive responses left their names. Why would that be?

I would not even give one star but that is not available! I have used them in the past and been very happy with their "healthy home" cleaning and deoderizing. However, my husband, while I was not at home< allowed the cleaner to use purt with the price to be $400.00 and dry in one to two days. NEVER USE PURT!! My carpet took over a whole 8 days to dry and it leeched into my hardwood floors and blackened them. After the owner came out and assured me he would take care of the carpets( which STILL have spots and stinks) and wait 3-4 months to recheck my hardwoods. Now he will not return my calls. What would you do?
