I booked Halcyon Days for a family reunion. We had 26 aboard for 6 hours and it was the most enjoyable time ever. We were able to see the city from the river - a unique and beautiful view, cruise up the American River anchor and swim while we were having lunch topped off with ice cream and fresh strawberries. The boat is set up perfectlly for family groups- each age catagory has their own area. The kids swam and fed the ducks off the stern, the old farts on the lanai deck, even older farts in the beautiful air conditioned main cabin and lots of room to set out in the sun, get away from the crowd. It was such a pleasure we are booking ahead for next year. Host Umberto is so accomodating and gracious - catering to our special food requests from the beginning. Captain Jim was generous with all of us as we took turns driving the boat. His knowledge of the area was entertaining making the bridge deck area a very popular. Too bad this site only has 5 stars - we want to give them 6.
