For the taxpayers that either Itemize on their federal tax return or claim Educational Credits, the IRS has stated that there will be a delay in filing your taxes  until mid to late February.  This will not effect anyone who does not use these items.  Due to the delay, IRS is going to extend the deadline date until April 18, 2011 to help out those of you who will be delayed in filing due to this change.
