Beach Braids & Temporary Tattoos

My daughters hair wrap was $35 and didn't last a week! Started unravelling 3 days later.

I was going to test out a tattoo, figuring that a henna would be a good guinea pig. First the hours were confusing and they closed at 8 so we planned to come back. Today my friends and i visited the Scarborough Shop for a terrible shock. The girl working was rude and they charge 3$ for a lower case letter and 5$ for an uppercase letter. I wanted a 40 letter long Count of Monte Cristo tattoo with a grand total of 122$. I could have pretty much gotten a real tattoo for that much.Smaller non-custom tattoos ranged from 15$-50$ We went to Island Dye on beach road where they have a custom tattoo artist. She was nice and I only paid 25$. Don't waste your time.

I had two totally different experiences here. The first one was very positive when we had my daughter's hair braided, the girl doing it was very nice. However,when we came back later in the week for temporary tattoos the owner or manager could not have been ruder or more condescending, leaving my child in tears. The interaction was as unprofessional as one I have ever encountered, especially in an environment that is meant to be fun and for children. He seemed like he couldn't stand children or tourists as it was at the end of the season and made some comments that would only reinforce this opinion. We visit Duck often as do my friends and I would never recommend this establishment.
